The unemployment figures for Cass County show a slight increase over the past two months according to the data provided by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

Unemployment rose to 7.5 percent in November, up from 7.4 percent in October.

However, it is nearly down a full percentage point from June when it stood at 8.3 percent.

In July, the unemployment rate stood at 8.2 percent and then dropped a full percentage point in August when it stood at 7.2 percent, the lowest figure in 2013.
