Nancy Ann Hildebrand, 69, of Cassopolis, died Monday, December 23, 2013, in Three Rivers Health.

Nancy was born October 2, 1944 in Niles, Michigan to Alfred and Mabel (Tetzloff) Chamberlain. She married Ernest F. Hildebrand October 2, 1971 in Cassopolis, Michigan. He preceded her in death July 21, 1999. She was also preceded by her parents and two brothers, Larry Chamberlain and Alfred Chamberlain, Jr.

Nancy’s passion was Twinkies and coffee. She loved to have people visit her at her house for cook-outs or just to chit-chat. She enjoyed tending her flower garden, especially her rose bushes.

Nancy will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her sister, Jeanette McCormick of Three Rivers; three sisters in law, Georgia Chamberlain of Hersey, Michigan, Beverly Van Wormer of Dowagiac, Michigan, Char Buck of Valparaiso, Indiana; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and three great great nephews; and godson, Lamar Gilliam of Cassopolis.

Family and friends will gather Friday, December 27, 2013 from 12:00 Noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m. in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis, with the Reverend Terry Neumayer officiating. Mrs. Hildebrand will be laid to rest beside her late husband in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Sumnerville.

The family prefers memorial contributions in Nancy’s name be given to American Cancer Society, Southwest Michigan Office, 1400 West Milham Street, Portage, Michigan 49024; or, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
