Willie Edward Hall, 76, of Dowagiac, died at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Mich. on Wednesday, Dec. 11.

Willie was born on Feb. 4, 1937 to the late Robert and Mamie (James) Hall in Gainsville, Florida.
After high school, Willie wed Lavera (Jones) Hall on March 17, 1973 in Dowagiac. Together they had six children. Willie was a member of Peace Temple Church in Dowagiac.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Brandon Wadley; and one granddaughter, Hailey Wadley. Willie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lavera; children, Barbara (Ronald) Wadley, of Dowagiac, Adriane (Ronnie) Payne, of Dowagiac, Michael Hall, of Dowagiac, Beverly Hall, of Niles, Robert (Alesha Tidey) Hall, of Dowagiac, Christopher (Kattie Davis) Hall, of Dowagiac; god daughter Vera (Donald) Harrell, of Dowagiac; and 14 grandchildren.
Willie’s family will be hosting a memorial service on at noon on Saturday, Dec. 21, at Peace Temple Church in Dowagiac.
