The Ring Lardner seventh-grade boys basketball team edged Dowagiac 27-24 Wednesday.

Austin Brookins led the Vikings with 13 points, while Kendall Jeremiah added four and Damien Downham three.

On Tuesday, Ring Lardner defeated John Young Middle School 37-17.

Brookins had 12 points for the Vikings, who also got seven points from Austin Huffman and five points from Alex Wickizer.
