Opal Osban, 89, of Buchanan, Michigan, passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at her residence.

Opal was born August 9, 1924, in Oklahoma City, to Mr. and Mrs. George Hayes, who precede her in death.

Opal is survived by daughters: Opal Peppers of Niles, and George Ann Petersen of Buchanan; 14 grandchildren and numerous great, and great-great grandchildren.

Opal is also preceded in death by her husband of 77 years, LeRoy Osban; sons: Claude Osban, and Lee Roy Osban; daughter: Mary L. Smith; and by all her siblings.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, with service to follow at 1 p.m. at Hoven Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles, Michigan.
