ELKHART— Scott Lamour Fietzek, 45, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at his residence. He was born Sept. 4, 1968 in South Bend.

Survivors include his mother, Dawn K. (Dave) Garwood of Edwardsburg, MI; father, Dale T. Fietzek of South Bend; daughter, Sammantha Fietzek of Phenix City, AL; son, Shaun Fietzek of Mishawaka; sister, Kimberly Fietzek of Niles, MI; brother, Corey (Abby) Fietzek of Niles, MI; two grandchildren, Eathon and Alexis Whitt of Phenix City, AL; nieces and nephews.

Scott was a loving son, father, and brother. He enjoyed life and loved living in this area. He was an avid fan of the Grateful Dead and always a supporter of the Notre Dame Football team.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Parish Community, 24832 US 12 East, Edwardsburg, MI 49112. Rev. Joe McCormick will officiate. A luncheon will immediately follow in the church social hall. Cremation will take place at Altera Cremation Services.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart, is entrusted with the arrangements.
