Virginia Mae Ferrier, 81, of Niles, passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at her home.
Virginia was born Oct. 27, 1932, in Binghamton, New York, to Melvin and Minnie Ray.
On Jan. 11, 1957, Virginia married Joseph Max Ferrier, in Chicago, Ill., who survives.
Virginia is also survived by children: Patricia Enders of South Dakota, Edward Ferrier II of Chicago, Ronald Brown of North Carolina, William (Sherrie) Brown of Niles, Debra (John Phillips) Ferrier of South Bend, Betsy (Kevin) Connors of Niles, Chris (Marie) Ferrier of Dowagiac and Michael Hogan of Niles; 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and by siblings: Victor Ray, Robert (Shirley) Ray, and Barbara Gouge. She is preceded in death by her parents and three sons: Michael Brown, Joseph Ferrier, Jr., Christopher Ferrier and by five siblings.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 from  2 to 4 p.m. at Hoven Funeral Home, in Buchanan, Michigan.
