BRIDGMAN — The Brandywine volleyball team fell to rival Buchanan in the championship match of the final Lakeland Conference Tournament Thursday night.

The Bucks defeated the Bobcats 25-13 and 25-13 to claim the championship. Buchanan and Brandywine shared the league title in 2012.

Brandywine reached the championship match by defeating Cassopolis 18-25, 25-9 and 15-10. The Bucks advanced to the finals with a 25-12 and 25-22 win over host Bridgman.

Bridgman defeated Cassopolis in the consolation match 20-25, 25-18 and 15-6.
