James L. Jessup, 91, of Florida, formerly of Michigan, passed away Oct. 21, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Fla.

Mr. Jessup was born Nov. 5, 1921 in Volinia Township. He was a resident of Barefoot Bay for 30 years coming from Michigan. Before retiring he worked for Clark Equipment in Buchanan. He was a life member of the Volinia Masonic Lodge, No. 227.

James will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret Jessup of Barefoot Bay, Fla.; two daughters , Cathy and Gary Collins of Brighton, Mich., Jeanne Jessup of, Vero Beach; one son, John and Phyllis Jessup of Traverse City; four grandchildren, Christina Collins, Scott Collins and Jackie Jessup, all of Michigan, Austin Jessup of Chicago; five great grandchildren, Alex, Ava, Jimmy , Katie, and Andrew; and grand dogs, Bear and Sprocket.
