Brandywine finishes regular season at 81

THREE OAKS — The Brandywine Bobcats will head into the post season with a full head of steam following a 42-0 victory over host River Valley Friday night.

The Bobcats finish the regular season with an 8-1 mark and are hoping for a first round home game when the state playoffs are announced Sunday night on Fox Sports Detroit.

Brandon Earles scored a pair of touchdowns, while Andrew Duckett ran for one and threw for another to help Brandywine roll up 386 yards of total offense, including 336 on the ground.

Also scoring touchdowns for the Bobcats were Marty Ward Jr., Austin Knapp on a pass from Duckett and Vinny Peel.

Brandywine’s defense was equally impressive as it held the Mustangs scoreless and to a 121 yards in total offense.
