Harry Bradley Jr., born in Paterson, New York on Jan. 1, 1924 to Harry Bradley and Julia Krieger Bradley, died on Oct. 5, 2013 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo, Mich. Harry married Georgia O’Neal on Jan. 31, 1948 who predeceased him in 1989.

Mourning his loss are his sister, Marion Bruzska, Almonte Springs, Fla., daughter Marion (Daniel) Wood. Jr., Kalamazoo, Mich., son Thomas Bradley, Ware Shoals, S.C., grandchildren Sean (Manuela) Motyl, Minneola, Fla., Charles Hammond, Windham, Maine, Daniel  (Leandra) Wood 3rd, Kalamazoo, Jonathan Wood, Breckenridge, Colo., and Reverend Iliana Wood, Dubuque, Iowa; Great grandchildren Emily Crandall, Schoolcraft, Mich., Lily Wood, Oscar Wood, Louisville, Colo.; Mitchell Motyl, Minneola, Fla.; Daniel Wood IV, Harrison Wood, and Amelia Wood, Kalamazoo. Preceding him in death are his daughter, Kathleen Kapsalis and his sister, Delores Bradley.

Harry grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y., and resided in Orange, Connecticut, Niles, Mich., and spent the last 13 years of his life with his daughter, Marion in Kalamazoo, Mich.  Harry served in both the US Army Air Corps and the US Air Force Reserve. After serving in WWII, Harry graduated from NYU and was employed by W.L. Maxson Corporation, Unimax Switch, MB electronics, and ended his career as Vice President of Finance for Electro Voice in Buchanan, Mich. He also enjoyed serving as a director for the FMB bank in Dowagiac, Mich., and spending time at Fernwood nature center in Buchanan Michigan where he was a member. Harry was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Niles, Mich., and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church after he moved to Kalamazoo.

Services will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Dr. Randall Warren & Rev. Iliana Wood officiating on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Mich.
