THREE RIVERS – Host Three Rivers scored all of its points in the opening quarter and then held on for an 18-14 victory over Dowagiac Thursday.

The Chieftains scored in the first and fourth quarters.

Dowagiac finished with 158 yards rushing and 88 yards passing.

Jacob Davis rushed for a team-high 83 yards. Anthony Neubaur ran for a touchdown, while Scott Hassle threw for a score to Ronnie Payne.
