Frankie C. Hayslip, 65, of Niles, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Center for Hospice Care in South Bend, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on June 23, 1948 in Macon, Georgia to the late Franklin and Sylvia (Williams) Hayslip.

Frankie is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters; Linda, Robin and Jackie.

Frankie graduated from Brandywine High School. She was employed as a clerk at the Niles Kmart for over thirty years. Frankie enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, crocheting, listening to country music and was an avid Elvis Presley fan. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her step-mother Irma Hayslip of Niles, siblings; Peggy Kovacs of Mishawaka, Robert (Claudette) Hayslip of Niles, Paula (John) Salyer of Mishawaka, Sylvia (Wayne) Yaw of Niles and Michael Hayslip of Florida, LeRoy (Louise) Warner of Jackson, Audrey Warner of South Haven, Kathy (Brian) Anderson of Niles, Susie Hodgemire of Buchanan, Franklin Hayslip of Sheridan and DJ (Angie) Hayslip of Elkhart,  along with many cousins, 32 nieces and nephews, 42 great-nieces and great-nephews  and friends who will greatly miss her.

Her family would like to especially thank her niece Wendy Yaw (son Tyler) as well as a nephew Adam & Dana Yaw for their extended assistance while Frankie lived in Colon, Michigan.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens at 2:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions for Frankie may be made to the Center for Hospice Care 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, Indiana.
