SOUTH HAVEN – Visiting Dowagiac took to the air Friday night to post a 35-0 Wolverine Conference West Division victory over South Haven.

Austin Broda went 10-of-13 for 168 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Chieftains improved to 3-0 in the West Division heading into a stretch drive of the season.

Dowagiac will face Three Rivers and Edwardsburg the next two weeks as it attempts to three-peat as Wolverine Conference champion.

Broda opened the scoring with a 5-yard run before connecting with Lucas Petro for a 32-yard touchdown toss and Zach Williams from 4-yards out.

Chase Camp and Brody Froehlich capped the scoring with touchdown runs of  four and two yards.

The Chieftains (5-1) finished the night with 269 yards in total offense.

Defensively, Dowagiac limited the Rams to just two yards rushing and 139 yards of total offense.
