Cynthia Kay “Cindy” Uselton, 55, of Niles, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at her residence.

Cindy Uselton was born on November 15, 1957 in Mishawaka to Kenneth and Joella (Bowering) Uselton.

She is preceded in death by her mother and nephew Dennis Smethers Jr.

Cindy is survived by her father, Kenneth Uselton of Mishawaka, sister, Terri (Paul) Johnston of Lakeville, three brothers; Tim (Laura) Uselton of Conifer, Colorado, Chris (Alice Bess Johnson) Uselton, Mike Uselton both of Mishawaka, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and numerous friends.   She also leaves behind a very special friend Rusty Hooker.

Cindy was a very spiritual person.  She loved fishing and had a strong love for all living creatures and especially for her little dog, Poncho.  Cindy had a tender, loving heart and was a caregiver for many years and also worked as a convenience store clerk.  She loved staying connected with family and friends on Facebook, email and texting, but most of all, Cindy loved family get-togethers, and her infectious laugh and warm smile will never be forgotten by her family.  Cindy will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 3:00 pm with a time of visitation one hour prior at Brown Funeral Home.
