BUCHANAN – Ronald Lynn Becker, 69, of Buchanan, MI, passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, MI.

He was born Jan. 12, 1944 in Buchanan, MI, son of the late Walt & Helen Becker. Ron is survived by his wife Deborah (Dille) Becker, of 36 years; they were married Aug. 27, 1977 in Niles. He also is survived by his two sons Jason Becker of Watervliet, MI, Jonathan Becker of Buchanan, MI; a sister Phyllis (Art) Reed of Niles, MI; a brother Maurice (Angie) Becker of Staten Island, New York; also his mother-in-law and father-in-law Margie and Don Gillette, of Niles; and brother-in-law Jeff Gillette.

Ron was a graduate of Buchanan High School in 1962. He worked for Buchanan post office for 33 years.

A memorial service will be held at Fairland Christian Church, 1811 River Bluff, Niles, MI on October 1, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. A luncheon will be served after services. Memorial donations can be made for Smitty’s café Fairland Christian Church
