Phyllis J. Davis, 78, of Niles passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at home surrounded by her family.

Phyllis was born to the late Russell and Bessie (Harshman) Krisher on January 2, 1935 in Niles, Michigan.

Phyllis married Kenneth E. Davis in 1953, they later divorced but remained lifelong friends

Phyllis found happiness in the simple things.  She loved to go for rides in the country, gardening, or riding horses.  She also enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles or just relaxing and watching her favorite television programs.  Her greatest love was the love she had for her family.

Preceding Phyllis are her parents, a son, Edward Davis, a daughter, Theresa Light, and her four brothers; William Krisher, Harold Krisher, Gene Krisher, and Robert Krisher.

She is survived by her three daughters Diana Davis of Niles, Sally (Garry) Hunt of Cassopolis, Linda Pierson also of Niles, and a son, Kenneth (Ann) Davis of South Bend, Indiana and a daughter-in-law Julianna Davis, of Niles.  She will also be greatly missed by her fifteen grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Services for Phyllis will be Thursday, September 26 at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with visitation beginning at noon.  Pastor Jeff Oliver will be officiating.
