NEW BUFFALO – The Dowagiac JV volleyball team finished third at the New Buffalo JV Tournament Saturday.

The Chieftains took first place in their pool beating Countryside (2-0), Cassopolis (2-0) and splitting with Bridgman (1-1).

Dowagiac then defeated Brandywine 18-21, 21-17 and 15-7 in the quarterfinals before falling to Buchanan in the semifinals 21-15 and 21-18.
