A 30-point second quarter left no doubt about who was going to be the winning of the Wolverine Conference non-divisional football game at Edwardsburg Friday night.

The host Eddies grabbed a 14-0 lead after one quarter and then erupted for 30 points in the second to take a 44-0 lead into halftime of its 58-0 win over Comstock.

The second half was played with a running clock.

Dylan Hulett and Jack Bywaters both scored a pair of touchdowns for Edwardsburg (3-0). Hulett led the team in rushing with 85 yards on six carries.

Also scoring for the Eddies were Tyler Williamson, Jackson Gaideski , Robby Cline and Quentin McCollough.

The Edwardsburg defense, which limited the Colts (0-3) to just 34 yards of total offense, recorded a safety.

The Eddies open up Wolverine West Division play by hosting South Haven Friday night.
