COMSTOCK – The Dowagiac freshmen and JV volleyball team swept Comstock Thursday night.

The Chieftain freshmen team defeated the Colts 25-14, 14-25 and 15-11.

The JV squad defeated Comstock 25-19 and 25-15.

Leading the Chieftains was McKinzie Kiggins with five serves, three kills and a block. Taylor Hullett had five serves and three kills. Mara Nelson  had four serves and three digs. Kourtney Mitchell had three serves and four digs.

Alyssa Crocker added two serves and Katie Purlee had several assists throughout the night.
