Melinda “Mindi” Sue Schrader Norman, 53, of Lakewood OH, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013. She was born February 4, 1960, in South Bend IN, the daughter of William and Janice (Hays) Schrader.

Mindi was a 1978 graduate of Niles High School and attended Beauty College and SWM College. Her interests were in art in which she was very talented in drawing, and music, especially the Rolling Stones.  She was an excellent cook, an avid reader, had a phenomenal memory, and a great sense of humor.  She loved animals, especially her cats.  Mindi loved spending time with her family and was especially proud of her children.

Survivors in addition to her parents are her husband Keith Norman, Lakewood OH; daughters Courtney Rosser, Orlando FL, and Joanna Wertz; and son Christopher Wertz, both of Pittsburgh PA; sisters Desiree (Paul) Mooney, Niles MI; Angela (Herb) Caldwell, Bloomington IN; and nephews Paul and Shawn Mooney, Niles MI, and Jackson Caldwell, Bloomington IN.
