The fall sports season at Dowagiac kicks off Friday when the boys soccer team hosts Hartford in a non-conference match.

Action is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

After taking the rest of the weekend off, the Chieftains will open up two more sports Monday.

The Dowagiac girls golf team will begin the 2013 season with a pair of Wolverine Conference matches.

The Chieftains will travel to Allegan for an 8:30 a.m. jamboree before heading over to Otsego for a 12:30 p.m. start.

Dowagiac’s tennis team will open its season Monday afternoon as well.

The Chieftains were originally supposed to host Niles Thursday, but the match has been moved to Monday and will now be played at Niles High School beginning at 5 p.m.

Dowagiac’s volleyball team will kick off its season Tuesday when the Chieftains travel to White Pigeon. Action is slated to begin at 5 p.m.

The Chieftain football team will host Vicksburg Friday at 7 p.m.
