A motorcycle/sport utility vehicle accident Tuesday night injured three people.

Dowagiac Public Safety Director Steven Grinnewald reports that at about 9:25 p.m., police officers responded to a minor injury traffic accident on Spruce Street near North Paul Street.

Investigation determined that the motorcycle driven by Roger Haskins, 32, of Dowagiac, pulled onto Spruce from North Paul.

In doing so, Haskins failed to yield the right of way to a westbound Honda CRV driven by Constance Wilds, 74, also of Dowagiac.

Haskins had his 9-year-old son on the motorcycle.

All three subjects complained of minor injuries, but no one was transported to the hospital.

Officers cited Haskins for no valid cycle endorsement, failure to yield the right of way and no proof of insurance.
