Kenneth Gary Williams, 58, of Red Oak, TX, formerly of Buchanan, MI, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013.  He was a loving father, brother and friend.  He was born to the union of J.T. Williams Sr. and Earnestine Williams in Niles, MI on April 17, 1955.

Prior to relocating to the Red Oak area, Kenny worked for 24 years at the AM General Hummer Plant in Mishawaka, IN.  At the time of his passing, Kenny served faithfully for six years as a maintenance mechanic at Cardinal Glass IG in Waxahachie, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents J.T. Williams Sr. and Earnestine Williams, a brother, Robert Williams, and a sister, Doris Thompson.

Those left to mourn and cherish his memory are:  six sons, William Witherspoon of Nashville, TN; Terence (Cinnamon) Witherspoon of Waxahachie, TX; Kenneth Williams Jr. of Clarksville, TN; Christopher Williams of Atlanta, GA; and Kenstyn Williams and Kollyn Williams both of Red Oak, TX.  Six sisters:  Dorothy (Johnnie B) Jenkins of Pearl, MS; Bobbie (Hershey) Thompson of Inkster, MI; Margaret Young of Buchanan, MI, Deloris Hill of Tampa, FL; Anna Marie (Walter) Overton, and Carolyn (Ben) Lax both of South Bend, IN.  Four brothers:  Clarence (Josetta) Bibbs Sr., of Buchanan, MI; Edward (Connie) Bibbs of New Troy, MI;  J.T. (Rosael) Williams Jr., of Niles, MI; and John (Donzella) Williams of Belleville, MI.  One niece, who was raised as a sister, Me’Shelle Williams of Lancaster, TX.  One aunt, Maude Thompson of Buchanan, MI; as well as 26 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11 a.m. at New Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 112 Fulton Street, Buchanan, MI.  49107
