Football practice for Niles High School will begin at 3 p.m. Monday.

Players need to report by 3 p.m. Practice will end at 10:15 p.m.

They will need to bring their own lunch.

Players can pick up equipment Sunday at 4 p.m. at the high school.

All other sports, with the exception of cheerleading, begin fall practice Wednesday.

Here are the practice times:

• Cheerleading — Aug. 13, 5:30 to 7 p.m.

• Volleyball — Aug. 14, 2 to 4 p.m.

• Cross country — Aug. 14, 9 a.m. meet outside weight room

• Boys soccer — Aug. 14, 9 a.m. to noon; 3 to 6 p.m.

• Boys tennis — Aug. 14, 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.; 6 to 8 p.m.

• Girls golf — Aug. 14, 3 p.m. at Orchard Hills (parents meeting Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. at high school)
