The annual open house for the Edwardsburg Fire Department will be held Aug. 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the fire station.

This year’s “festival” will be a co-operative effort with the Chamber of Commerce and the Uptown Improvement Association joining with a number of booths from the rained out Memorial Day Festival.

There will be kids games, booths, a band, vintage cars and food from local vendors. Fire engines, rescue vehicles and equipment will be on display and visits from two Med Flight helicopters are expected.
