Friday and Saturday, Aug. 9-10
All In Love
10 p.m.
Czar’s 505
505 Pleasant Street, St. Joseph
(269) 983-1188
Formed in 1973, All In Love used to pull record draws of 1500 at The Back Alley (now Pebblewood in Bridgman) and it’s original 7-piece band with horn section has now expanded to 11 pieces, featuring some of the very best regional musicianship from that era. The band features vocalists Kay Stickney-Dine, Scott Schalon and Terry Brady, guitarists Greg Horn and Tom Gillespie, Chuck Hartzell (percussion), Jim Robb (keys), and horn players Fred Li, Jeff Petrosky, Tim King and Steve Bizoe. Proceeds to benefit Animal Aid, Save-A-Stray and The Humane Society of SW Michigan. Great tunes + great band + great cause = a great time. Second performance on Saturday night.

Outdoor Summer Movie Series at Whirlpool Field
410 Vine Street, St. Joseph

What could be better than one of Hitchcock’s classics on a gigantic inflatable screen? Be sure to bring blankets and lawn chairs to take advantage of the only time you‘ll experience amplified sound after 10:30 near the beach without having the police called! Even the St. Joe Prom, which ended at 11pm, had the police called in! THIS IS A BIG DEAL!

Bagpipes + rock = BAGROCK. Men in kilts flying freely in Elkhart. I think that covers it.
