CASSOPOLIS – Jerome Alexander Patridge, infant son of Richard Patridge and Briana Gibson, was welcomed by his loving parents Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in Lakeland Health in Niles.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerome A. “Papa” Patridge II of Cassopolis and great-great-grandmother, Mary “Bummin” O’Connor.

In addition to his parents his arrival was eagerly anticipated by his paternal grandparents, Georgianna (Smitley) Patridge of Buchanan, Heather (Slagel) Patridge of Cassopolis; paternal great grandparents, Jerome A. (Julie) Patridge I of Houston, Texas; Georgia Mathews of Cassopolis, Ronald Mathews of Cassopolis; Maternal grandparents, Jaynee (Jeffery Chapman) Gibson of Cassopolis; maternal great-grandparents, Susan Gibson of Coldwater and Raymond Gibson of Dowagiac; aunts, Juanita Patridge of Buchanan, Reellan Patridge of Cassopolis; uncles, Tyler Morris of Sturgis, Ayden Chapman of Coldwater, Gabriel Chapman of Cassopolis.

He was also preceded in death by paternal great-grandparents, George and Juanita Smitley.

Family and friends will gather Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. in Diamond Cove Missionary Church, 22820 Diamond Cove St., Cassopolis, with a prayer service at 6 p.m.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the family to help defray expenses.
