The seventh annual Cat Track 5K Run/Walk will be held Aug. 10 at Brandywine High School.

The Brandywine Foundation in partnership with the Niles-Buchanan YMCA sponsor the event, which is raising money to build a new press box at the Bobcats’ athletic facility.

The current press box at the football field was built approximately 25 years ago.

The course is run on the school grounds at Brandywine and its cross country course featuring “the swamp,” adjoining farmland and finishing on the track.

Cost is $15 if pre-registered by July 26, $20 after July 26 and $25 on race day.

Last year, Cameron Bredice of Bridgman and Kaila Stevens of Goshen, Ind. were the top male and female finishers.
