Robbery suspects fled in white or silver four-door

Ontwa Township-Edwardsburg Police Department Chief Kenneth Wray released additional information again Wednesday’s armed robbery at G.W. Jones Exchange Bank.

Jonessuspect1According to Wray, two black males entered the bank armed with weapons and forced the tellers to the ground and took an undetermined amount of money from the cash draws.

The two suspects then fled the scene. The suspect vehicle is described as a white or silver four-door car with a brown top.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Cass County Sheriff’s department tip line at (800) 462-9328.

    I feel sorry for the employees. They don’t get paid much for the job they do, correctly handling customers money and being responsible for shortages when balancing their daily tills. Being robbed at gunpoint makes their job worse.

    I would think that banks could afford better cameras to help identify and catch the thieves.
