Michael J. Sepic has been appointed prosecuting attorney for Berrien County by a unanimous vote of the county’s Circuit Court judges.
Sepic was the chief assistant prosecuting attorney in Berrien County. He succeeds Arthur J. Cotter, who resigned after being appointed a District Court judge by Gov. Rick Snyder in May.
Sepic will hold the office of prosecuting attorney until a successor is elected at the next general November election.
