An open house is planned for the new Student Service Center at Southwestern Michigan College from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 8. The Student Service Center is located on the first floor of the College Services Building on the Dowagiac campus.

The public is invited to attend. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours followed by a light lunch.

“The new Student Service Center will be a one-stop, 21st century customer service center where new students as well as current students can find all the help they need from applying for admission to the college to registering for classes,” said college President Dr. David Mathews. “Students will have the opportunity to meet with our admissions staff to talk about financial aid, testing requirements and other business all in one convenient location.”
