Theft of 35-ton log splitter Crime of the Week

The crime of the week comes from the files of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.

On June 27, at approximately 8:26 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a business alarm at Tractor Supply Co., 2125 S. 11th St., Niles Charter Township.

Upon arrival, unknown suspects set off the business alarm and also stole a 35-ton log splitter sitting out in front of the business.

The description of the vehicle involved in this incident is a 1990 to 1995 Ford F150

pickup truck, two-tone dark top, light bottom.
