Dowagiac Lions Club wishes to thank the hundreds of individual contributors and our corporate sponsors for a successful 2013 “White Cane” campaign.

The money raised will allow the Lions to continue to provide assistance to Dowagiac citizens who need help with their vision and hearing needs.

Thanks go to Lions Ron Behnke, who coordinated the children’s poster contest; Lyle Taylor and his wife, Patsy, who mailed letters and paid for the postage; and Herb Anderson, Ron Ganger, Ron Jones, Bruce Springsteen, Ned Sutherland, Lyle Taylor and Mike Yauchstetter, who “hit the street” to collect funds.

Our corporate sponsors were: Ausra Equipment and Supply, Dr. Matthew Cripe, Haas Systems, Hale’s True Value Hardware, Hannapel Home Center, Judd Lumber Co., Lyons Industries Inc., James Lewis Mosier Well Drilling, Rohdy’s Heating and Cooling, Skibbe Business and Tax Service, Turf Services and Vylonis Contracting.
