The Cassopolis Summer Meals Program begins Monday and runs through Aug. 8.

The program provides free meals for kids up to age 18 and is open to all children even if they are not Cassopolis residents.

“We are very excited to offer nutritious meals throughout the summer as we know many parents work and are not available to ensure their kids eat,” said Robyn Bright, director of food services for Cassopolis Public Schools.

Breakfast will be served at both Ross Beatty Jr.-Sr. High School and Sam Adams Elementary from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Lunches are available at Ross Beatty from 11 to 11:30 a.m.; Cass District Library from noon to 12:45 p.m. and at both Sam Adams and the Vandalia Community Center from 1 to 1:45 p.m.

The programs run Monday through Thursday. There are no meals served on Fridays.

No meals will be served at the sites July 2 through July 6.
