Anthony Karasch of Cassopolis was injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday evening in LaGrange Township reports the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

Karasch, 52, was traveling North on OKeefe Road just North of Shurte Street when he lost control of his motorcycle and ran off the roadway hitting a ditch at approximately 7:35 p.m. Karasch was transported to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Mr. Karasch was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Life Care Ambulance and the Cassopolis Fire Department assisted deputies at the scene which remains under investigation.
