Leslie Wilder and Robert Smith, of Dowagiac, are the parents of a daughter, born June 2, 2013, at Lakeland-Niles.

Maternal grandparent is the late Shelly Huffman Wilder, of Dowagiac. Paternal grandparent is the late Nathan Wilder, of Dowagiac. Maternal grandparent is Randie Sue McGeorge of Paola, Kan. Paternal grandparent is the late Kent E. Smith of Paola, Kan.

Casey Heath, of Niles, is the parent of a daughter, born June 1, 2013, at Lakeland-Niles. She weighed 7 pounds.

Maternal grandparents are Michelle and John Heath Jr., of Niles. Maternal great-grandparents are John and Kitty Heath Sr., of Niles.

 

Smith

Brittney Smith, of Dowagiac, is the parent of a son, born June 4, 2013, at Lakeland-Niles. He weighed 5 pounds, 14 ounces.

Smith is also the parent of two sons, Dontevon, 2, and Jemar.

Maternal grandparents are Tonya File and Bobby Smith, of Dowagiac. Maternal great-grandparents are Elaina Grady and Frankie Smith, of Dowagiac.

 

Carpenter-Slates

Chris Carpenter and Kyle Slates, of Niles, are the parents of a son, Cooper, born May 28, 2013, at Lakeland-Niles. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces.

The Carpenters are also the parents of one son and two daughters, Maddox Carpenter, 4, Ryleigh Carpenter, 6, and Mikayla Slates, 4.

Maternal grandparents are Jim and Gloria Vandygriff, of Niles. Paternal grandparents are Kim Crouch and Rick Carpenter, of Niles.

Monica and Joshua Mills of Niles are the parents of a daughter, born May 30, 2013, at Lakeland-Niles. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces.
