CASSOPOLIS — A one-vehicle crash in Mason Township Monday night injured an Edwardsburg resident.

Cass County Sheriff Joseph Underwood Jr. reports deputies responded to Starbrick Street near Kessington Road at 10:51 p.m. on June 3.

Investigation of the crash showed a vehicle driven by Crystal Stinnett, 23, of Edwardsburg, was westbound on Starbrick when it ran off the roadway and struck a tree.

Stinnett was transported to Elkhart, Ind., General Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Stinnett was not wearing her seatbelt. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash. Assisting at the scene were Porter Fire Department and Porter EMS.
