Dale Ray Jr., 64, of Edwardsburg, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, May 30, 2013, with his family by his side.

Dale Ray Jr. was born on July 4, 1948, in Niles to the late Dale and Gladys (Hansen) Ray. He is survived by four sons, Steve (Kelly) Ray, of Niles, Joe (Taryn) Ray, of Niles, Cody Ray and Chase Ray, both of Wadsworth, Ohio; three daughters, Courtney Ray, Chelsea Ray and Calli Ray, all of Wadsworth, Ohio; two grandchildren; three brothers, Terry (Jennifer) Ray, of Cassopolis, Kim Ray, of Talbot, Tenn., and Scott (Dawn) Ray, of Decatur, and a sister, Christine (Wendell) Reed, of Decatur.

Dale enjoyed re-building wheel horse tractors, working on cars and helping friends with odd jobs but, most of all, he loved spending time with his friends and family.

In keeping with Dale’s wishes cremation has taken place, and there will be a private graveside service with his family.
