Buchanan Community Schools will hold its 136th commencement ceremony for the Buchanan High School Class of 2013 at 2 p.m. Sunday at Buchanan High School.

There are 101 students scheduled to receive their diplomas.

After a performance from the high school band, Supt. Andrea van der Laan will welcome everyone to the ceremony.

Five graduating seniors are scheduled to speak: Abby Parris, Renee Ruth, Molly Walters, Brittany Litka and Abby Parris.

Diplomas will be presented by Buchanan High School Principal Sharon Steinke, Assistant Principal Chris Machiniak, Renee Cornwell and School Board President Harvey Burnett.
