Dorothy I. Przybylinski, 93, of Niles, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, of natural causes.

Dorothy was born July 14, 1919, in Daily, to Claude and Ollie Stretch. She was a very loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved cooking, gardening, camping and quiet time doing jigsaw puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her mother and father; husband, Theodore Przybylinski; two brothers, Paul and Gene Stretch; two sisters, Madalyn Carbon and Lorna Grass; and six children, Norma Schlutt, Linda Cowan, Betty Ann Bower, Jerry Przybylinski, Teddy Przybylinski and Tom Przybylinski.

Survivors include two daughters, Dixie (Mike) Koebel, of Niles, and Theresa (Bob) Evans, of Elkhart; two sons, Paul (Andrea) Przybylinski, of Hawaii, and Michael (Vickie) Przybylinski, of Alabama; 33 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 3, 2013, in Hoven Funeral Home Inc. in Buchanan, with visitation one hour before the service also in the funeral home. Pastor Carl Bassett of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Niles will be officiating.  Burial will take place in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
