Diane (Bell) Siewert, 52, of Buchanan, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Lakeland Community Hospital, of natural causes.

Diane was born April 20, 1961 in Sheridan, Ind. to John & Marilyn (Weaver) Bell.  She worked at the Niles District Library and was an active church member at Portage Prairie Church in Buchanan. On Oct. 27, 1990, in Buchanan, she married Mark Siewert, son of Albert and Elaine R. Siewert.

Surviving family include her husband, Mark Siewert of Buchanan; mother, Marilyn Bell of Sheridan, IN; daughters, Shanna Diane Siewert and Tanis Marie Siewert, both of Buchanan; brothers, John Bell of Oakridge, TN and Dan Bell of Tifton, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Diane in death is her father, John Bell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2013 in Hoven Funeral Home, Inc. of Buchanan, with visitation from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 23, also in the funeral home.  Burial will take place in Portage Prairie Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to the Niles District Library.
