Bobcats sweep Michigan Lutheran

Host Brandywine swept a non-league doubleheader from Michigan Lutheran Monday.

The Bobcats edged the Titans 6-5 in the first game and then blew out Michigan Lutheran in the nightcap 15-1.

In the bottom of the seventh, trailing 5-4 in the opening game, Hunter Jankowiak doubled to lead-off the inning. A sacrifice by Zach Grishaber advanced pinch runner Seth Brown to third where he scored on a single by Brian Kline to tie the game at 5-5.

Mike Pancoast delivered the game-winning double after Kline had stole second.

Kyle Basly also had a double for the Bobcats in the first game.

Brock Hartline picked up the win in relieve of starter Kyle Duncan.

In the second game, Brandywine finished with 13 hits, including doubles by Pancoast and Tanner Bourdon.

Hartline started and earned the victory with relief help from Alex Walters.
