Jesse Edward Willard, 70, of Niles, passed away at 3:45 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at the West Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Jesse was born on Sept. 19, 1942 in Dowagiac, to Everett and Leona (Fisher) Willard, who both have preceded him in death.

Jesse is survived by his four daughters, Dawn Schaefer of Niles, Kim Wood of South Bend, Ind., Veronica Willard of Lansing, Jessica Christmas of Mishawaka, Ind., five grandchildren, Christopher Wood, Star Wood, Johnathon Wood, Brianna Batton and Hannah Batton, three grandchildren, William Gordon, Faith Wood and Tristan Wood, his step-mother, Juanita Willard Poehlman of Florida, a brother, William “Bill” (Laura) Willard of Cassopolis, three half brothers, Guy (Teresa) Willard of Michigan, Jack (Debra) Willard of Georgia, Timothy (Theresa) Willard of Florida, four half sisters, Tina (Rick) Sanderson of Florida, Pam Lamm of Virginia, Bobbi Jo (Glenn) Yates of Florida and Jinny (Bob) Lach of Michigan.

Cremation will take place with a private family service to take place at a later date.
