Bobcats fall to Redskins, Maroon Giants

PAW PAW – Visiting Brandywine was swept by host Paw Paw and Kalamazoo Central Saturday.

The Bobcats lost to the Redskins 12-4, while it dropped a 10-3 decision to the Maroon Giants.

Against Paw Paw, a five-run fifth inning helped stake the Redskins to a seven-run lead through four innings.

Alex Walters took the loss for the Bobcats.

Kyle Duncan had a double as Brandywine finished with seven hits.

In the second game against Kalamazoo Central, the Maroon Giants scored three in the first and four in the fifth to account for most of its offense.

Brandywine’s runs came in the first and fifth innings.

Duncan suffered the loss for the Bobcats.

Brandywine finished with seven hits, including a 3-for-4 performance by Brian Kline that included a pair of doubles.
