Brandywine blanks Dowagiac to improve to 14-0

The Brandywine tennis team tuned up for Thursday’s Lakeland Conference Tournament with an 8-0 win over visiting Dowagiac Tuesday at Plym Park.

The Chieftains were soundly defeated by the undefeated Brandywine 8-0.

The win improved the Bobcats to 14-0. Brandywine will take on Schoolcraft today.

The best match of the day came at No. 2 singles was Alissa Gamble held off Dowagiac’s Sydney Foote 5-7, 7-5 and 7-6.
