NEW BUFFALO — Three second half goals by Brooke Smith helped the visiting Brandywine Bobcats rally for a 4-1 non-conference soccer victory Friday night.

New Buffalo grabbed an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Hannah Ward in the fifth minute.

The score remained 1-0 until the 47th minute when Brandywine’s Emily Erwin knotted the score at 1-1 with a goal.

It was all Smith from there on out for the Bobcats.

Smith scored goals in the 63rd, 65th and 80th minutes to give Brandywine the victory.

The Bobcats outshot the Bison 14-5. Sloan Kangas was credited with four saves.
