Another jamboree, another victory for the Chieftains

EDWARDSBURG — The Dowagiac golf team increased its Wolverine Conference West Division lead over Coloma Monday afternoon.

The Chieftains won the jamboree hosted by Edwardsburg at Four Lakes Country Club by shooting 167 as a team. Dowagiac had four of its five players finish inside the top 10 in scoring Monday.

The host Eddies were second with a score of 170. Coloma finished third with a 173, while South Haven, Three Rivers and Berrien Springs rounded out the order of finish.

Dowagiac’s Jordan Juday and Three Rivers’ Aaron Fenwick tied for medalist with identical 39s.

Dowagiac also got a 42 from Jordan Hagemann and 43s from Andrew Wild and Christian Hess.

Edwardsburg was led by Ryan Rivers’ 41. Dean Duke finished with a 42 and Dante Razanno a 43.
