Shamrocks take advantage of errors to beat Bobcats

BERRIEN SPRINGS – Too many second chances proved to be the difference for the Brandywine baseball team Wednesday afternoon.

The visiting Bobcats committed eight errors in a doubleheader against former Lakeland Conference foe Berrien Springs.

The Shamrocks (8-4) took advantage of those errors and defeated Brandywine (7-7-1) 11-1 and 12-6.

Brock Hartline took the loss for the Bobcats in the opening game, while Brian Kline was the losing pitcher in relief in the nightcap.

Tanner Bourdon had a double for Brandywine in the second game.
