Lewis W. Bashaw

Dowagiac native Lewis Bashaw died April 18, 2013, at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo.

Mr. Bashaw, son of Francis and Belle (Johnston) Bashaw, served in the U.S. Army during World War II, including the Berlin Airlift, and in the Air Force during Korea. He was an insurance adjuster for CIGNA for many years and served on Portage City Council.
